Lobbying for return of office workers

Dear Dealer Community, we’d like to ask for your help in supporting us in our lobbying efforts with the Government. As a Chairman of the BOSS Federation, our CEO Simon Drakeford has written a letter to Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, asking to prioritise the safe return to work for office-based businesses.

The letter outlines our industry’s reliance on the occupation of offices, highlighting the reduction in consumption and sales volumes brought about by the mass migration to home working throughout the pandemic. It also emphasises the impact on other sectors referencing a PwC study warning of a potential £15.3bn hit to UK GDP every year if pandemic-levels of home working continue.
